Here is a high level view of our Fall 2024 season with important dates for both Recreational Divisions and Travel Divisions. Please refer to your team page for dates and times of specific practices and games.
2024 Fall Rec & Travel Soccer- Registration Now Open!
The PVYS Board is so excited to kick-off the Fall season! Our tentative start for the season is September 4th. We will keep you posted on this as we get closer to the season start. Rec practices will be Mondays & Wednesdays (with games on Saturdays for U9-U13)
Please get your child registered as soon as possible so that we can ensure that teams are created without delay. The sooner we are able to create teams, the sooner we can order uniforms and have them available before the first game of the season. Part of this process is also having coaches to create those teams, so please consider volunteering to coach.
Want to make a donation to the league? New to registration this year is the option to make a monetary donation to the league. This money will go directly towards maintaining and replacing soccer equipment for the league.

Interested in coaching? We have two amazing coaching coordinators (Josh Bower & Pat MacFarlane) on board this year that have some awesome resources available to assist you in becoming a coach. No soccer or coaching experience needed. They will have drill ideas and a coaching clinic to provide you with support and the tools necessary to have a successful season. U7- Fee: $45.00
U9-U13 Fee: $55.00

LATE: July 22nd, 2024-July 31st, 2024 (Registration Closes)

U9-U13 Fee: $75.00

PVYS Rec Division Placement Policy
In some cases, your player's birth date may allow them to be registered in more than one division. For Rec Divisions, PVYS strives to place players with other players of the same grade.
Follow these guidelines to choose the correct division:
- U13 - 5th & 6th Grade
- U11 - 3rd & 4th Grade
- U9 - 2nd & 1st Grade
- U7 - 4 year old Pre-K (will be entering K Fall of 2025) & Kindergarten
Requests to allow a player to play up or play down a division should be emailed to registrar.pvyouthsoccer@gmail.com for an official decision.
2024 Fall Travel Soccer Season Registration Dates and Prices
**Travel teams practice on Tuesdays & Thursdays
**Games are played on Sundays (Noon or later, but times vary)
** Games are played in locations such as: State College, Altoona, Dubois, Huntingdon, Clearfield
EARLY BIRD: June 24th, 2024- June 30th, 2024
REGULAR: July 1st, 2024- July 21st, 2024
LATE: July 22nd, 2024-July 31st, 2024 (Registration Closes)
*Note: Your credit card will not be charged for this fee until we determine if we have enough players to make a team (or if we have to conduct try-outs).
After July 21st a $15.00 late fee will be added.
Uniforms- $25.00 (if needed) Players have the option to request new ones during registration, or if you are new to playing travel, you will need to purchase a uniform. If you are NEW to travel you MUST choose to purchase a uniform. If you have played travel before, and already have a uniform you do not need to purchase a new one, unless you need a new size.

The 2024 Fall Travel Soccer Season Program will include the following PVYS Teams if there is enough interest:
- U11 Boys Travel Team
- U11 Girls Travel Team
- U13 Boys Travel Team
- U13 Girls Travel Team
Please be advised that players may need to complete an evaluation and/or participate in tryouts in order to be placed on a travel team. This will be determined after we close registration and see how many players have signed up in each division. We recommend players who sign up for travel have at least 2-3 years of soccer playing experience.
